Welcome to the second iteration of the Duffy List, a curated collection of job openings in media, marketing, tech, government, and more.

What a difference one week can make.

Thank you to everyone sharing the word about this list. Edition 1 had 14 openings in the full Duffy List — edition 2, we’re up to 58.

There’s no question we’ve seen a boom in hiring for jobs based in the digital world. A recent Linkedin report showed that “half of the top 10 jobs are in the digital or media space.” There’s a huge demand for people with these skills as the pandemic pushed the most reluctant of companies to finally embrace having an online presence. As the report highlights: “Digital marketing specialists are most in-demand, while the media coordinator role is experiencing the fastest growth.”

So what does this mean? When taking 2021 data into account: “Wage growth for job switchers is 47% higher than those who stay in their current job.” Strike while the iron is hot. If you were waiting for a sign, this is it.
